TOP 10 SONGS TO GET EVERYONE ON THE DANCE FLOOR

Living in Utah we’ve been to a few weddings to say the least.

Weddings where there is no dancing, wild party weddings and weddings where try their hardest but they can’t seem to get their guests off their keesters.

If you are wanting dancing at your weddings these songs are a for sure way to get your guests off their feet and celebrating with you!

Of course you need songs of today, to get your bridal party up and going! Songs like Cake by the Ocean by DNCE, Up Town Funk by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars and Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon are perfect! They are appropriate for all ages, upbeat and anyone who listens to the radio will know all the words.

Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off is the song to play when the dance floor starts to clear. As said by Taylor Swift herself on Ellen’s talk show. She wrote this song with that exact thought in mind!

These songs are sure to get your friends up and moving but what about Grammy and Gramps?? You need to throw in some songs to make sure everyone is having a good time. Some of my personal favorites YMCA by Village People, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and of course Shout by the Isley Brothers. And seriously have you seen grandparents dance? No one can resist to do it with them. Throw a couple of these songs on throughout your reception to keep a variety of people coming back to the dance floor. You never know she may even stay when they play Up Town Funk haha.

It’s always fun to have interactive songs like YMCA and a famous wedding line dance… The Cupid Shuffle by Cupid 1. Everyone can follow them and they’re way fun.

And last but not least the classics I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston, September by Earth Wind & Fire and Mony Mony by Billy Idol. It doesn’t matter who you are, these songs will never go out of style.
